Description
  • The patron was driving through Kansas early in the morning as the sun was rising.  He came across acres and acres of wind turbines.  The slow motion and magnificent light had him pull off the road and shoot some photos on his iPhone.  He sent them to me and asked if I could also add some large hay bales.  Well, of course I could!  I grew up in Iowa appreciating the wonderful early morning light on fields and the “shredded wheat biscuits” as I called them growing up.   I combined elements of 4 different photos to create Wind Turbines, a 24×36 acrylic on canvas, capturing that beautiful morning on a Kansas highway.

If you have a favorite place, lets talk about if it might be a future painting.

Wind Turbines is not available in print.
