This beauty was commissioned by a local Palm Beach County surfer/artist after he purchased the smaller (8×16″) oil.  He had a great idea ~ what if you painted another Teahupo’o inspired wave for me that is 4′ x 9′ !  I loved the challenge of going BIG and about 2 months later I delivered her to him in Delray Beach, FL.  He hosted a benefit for the Palm Beach County Surf History Project and The Florida Surfing Museum where all the guests painted waves with me.  It was so much fun!  We also raised over $1200. I had a great time getting to know him and Delray Beach. I spent the week there painting and look forward to supporting the Florida Surfing Museum and the Palm Beach County Surf History Project again in 2018.
