Steam Engine is an 11×14 oil on canvas, in a gold leaf, plain air style frame.  I painted her while visiting friends in Texas. I was inspired by the quaint small town and its’ history.  The T&P (Texas and Pacific) Railway comes straight through the center of town like clock work, though there are no longer pulled by the iconic steam engines of the past.  I wanted to capture this West Texas town as it might have been, “back in the day” of steam locomotives.  It is not available in prints.
