Playa Ostional is a 15 drive from my home and is best known for the huge arribadas of Olive Ridley Sea Turtles when hundreds of mama turtles come ashore to lay 75-100 eggs each.  It is a fascinating story and history.  My painting Ostional Sunset captures that lovely golden light on this magnificent black sand beach.

Ostional Sunset is a 10×20, oil on canvas panel.  It is in a handmade wood frame I built in Costa Rica with a painted and patina finish.
